Getting Album Art to Show up in Nautilus
If you've embedded album art into your music using a tool like EasyTag, it may not show up in Nautilus right away. Here's why: when nautilus sees a file's icon, it caches the icon (saves it in a special folder) so that it can be loaded faster next time. It doesn't check to see if the icon changed very often, so to fix this, you must get rid of the what Nautilus has remembered, forcing it to check again. To do this, go to your home folder, and then the .cache folder within it. Note that you may need to make sure hidden files and folders are visible. There, navigate to the thumbnails folder, and delete everything there. Now, Nautilus will check again and load your album art. This may cause Nautilus to be slightly slower as it re-caches all your thumbnails, but this is temprorary.
